Beneath The Silk
Beneath the Silk is a feminist pronographic visual novel game made for women, set in a parallel 1910s wartime reality. You play as a wealthy outsider who marries into a crumbling noble family ruled by a calculating matriarch. When your husband—once the heir—returns from war physically scarred and infertile, you’re drawn into a domestic power game involving his twin brother, family politics, and sexual negotiations.
Designed in response to the lack of fast-access, emotionally immersive pron games for women, Beneath the Silk shifts the gaze to male bodies and centres female desire. Erotic scenes are immediate, visual, and psychologically charged, animated with Live2D to heighten intimacy and tension.
As the story unfolds, a “puzzle portrait” system tracks how your choices shape the protagonist’s identity—emotionally, sexually, and socially. This project reclaims the genre, asking: What does erotic power feel like when it belongs to us?
