To Look Within
This project began as an excavation - a long fall into the rabbit hole of watching, imaging technology, and the immediacy of experience. Interrupted by a sudden injury, many reflections and views were preserved, suspended like fragments in time.
In an age where imaging technology is ever at hand, much of what is precious slips quietly away. Has this ever-accessible ability to capture every moment empowered our gaze, or dulled it?
Through small instruments that invite pure observation, and a short film woven from layered complaints, this work gathers a map of that slow forgetting — and a quiet attempt to resist it.
