Destructions’ Narrative
We’re seeing a world where people are too ready to throw the old away. I want to bring light to the intricate details which lay in the destroyed.
Following the laws of entropy and equal exchange, I've looked at how energy passes through objects and the potential of where it goes. I believe this energy passes through us also, transferring to the things we interact with. There's a narrative in the markings we leave. Each mark has a story and has someone attached to it. When we leave this world the marks we made will be the things left to tell our story.
My outcomes from the project resulted in a collection, communicating my work in various formats.
These destroyed pots represent every single student in our year. With their names written amongst the pot then destroyed, infusing it with the emotional energy of throwing the pot, causing it to be destroyed.
